   Frequently Asked Questions

  • Stairway Chair Lifts
  • 1. How are they installed?
Stairway chair lifts are attached to the stairs
themselves. They do not attach to any wall. They
use mounting brackets that attach to the floor
and are used roughly every 3 steps.

    2. How much do they cost?
Installed lifts will run from $3500 to as high as
$15,000 depending on the turns involved in the path
    of travel.

    3. What electrical is required?
Normal household power of 110v is perfectly adequate
    to operate the stairchair.

    4. How long does it take to get one?
Straight run lifts are in stock and usually can be installed the
same week. Curved stairchairs are specials and take approximately
10-12 weeks to order, manufacture, ship, and install.
