Vertical Wheelchair Lifts

The BC and HBC accessibility equipment models are manufactured as an unenclosed lift. This accessibility equipment unit is often installed within a vertical runway built by others. In some commercial settings, where the travel distance is less than 5 feet, a BC or HBC may be installed without a vertical runway. Because of its versatility, this model can overcome accessibility barriers in a variety of different settings. Common applications include: churches, libraries, restaurants, and schools. ThyssenKrupp Access can supply a wide variety of flush mounted (fire rated or non-fire rated) doors. Local codes and regulations will specify the type of door permitted in your area.

The portable vertical platform lift can be an ideal solution for access to a stage or platform. Since the unit is mobile, it can be moved when access to the stage in not necessary and the room needs to be used for other functions. In some cases, a variance may be required.

The portable lift is equipped with wheels and a jack to raise the unit to move it. The unit can be fitted with externally adjustable limits to make setup easier. A typical application is a school stage in the gymnasium

CDE/HCDE models are manufactured with a steel enclosure for indoor use. For outdoor applications, aluminum tubings are available to extend the life of the unit. This model solves accessibility needs without having to build a vertical runway. Units can be fully enclosed to add aesthetic appeal, as well as, protect the user from inclement weather. In such cases, optional lighting and a ventilation system may be required.

The PCDE and HPCDE models come equipped with a factory supplied enclosure with clear or tinted acrylic panels. These attractive models allow light into the runway, which permit the user to see from the unit during operation. This is the only differentiating feature between the PCDE/HPCDE models and the CDE/HCDE models.

The RE model unit is designed with the home owner in mind. This lift is similar to the BC model, the platform side guards and gates are only 36" tall. These features make the unit "for residential use only".

The RE model is an affordable alternative to lengthy, costly, and unsightly ramps. The lifting heights of 24", 42", 60", and 72" will satisfy most applications. For heights greater than 72", a BC model may be used.

The WOV 355 is a vertical platform lift. With a roped hydraulic drive and 6’8" interior cab height, this lift looks and rides like an elevator. A smooth ride is provided by the 2 speed operation. The control panel buttons require constant pressure for the lift to raise or lower.
