The Luma Lift is a self-supporting through-floor lift built for aging-in-place and accessibility needs. Installed directly through a floor cut-out, with no hoistway, support wall, or pit required, most installations are complete in one to two days once a contractor has prepared the space, a fraction of the months-long timeline of a conventional elevator.

Available Sizes

The Luma is available in two configurations: a personal-size cab for individual use, and a larger, wheelchair-accessible cab sized for a wheelchair user and companion.

A Simpler Installation Process

Site preparation includes a licensed contractor cutting the floor opening, adding structural bracing, and running a dedicated power outlet. McKinley can refer you to a contractor with Luma experience. Once that’s done, factory-trained installers typically complete the lift installation itself in one to two days, so a full project usually wraps up in weeks rather than the months a conventional home elevator can take.
